GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
The Worcester County Humane Society is #GivingTuesday to the dogs this year! We are desperately in need of two things: a new shelter kennel system AND forever homes for our long-stay shelter dogs.
The existing kennels are over 80 years old and no longer meet the industry standards for modern-day sheltering. We have patched panels and mended gates over the years, but the kennels are now in dire need of replacement.
The cost for 23 new indoor and outdoor kennels is $60,000.00. We are asking for your help today to help cover the cost of the new kennel system. Kennel sponsorships are available, but any amount helps.
The Worcester County Humane Society is not state, county or federally funded. We need your help to give the dogs a safe place to shelter while they wait for their forever homes.
Giving Tuesday reimagines a world built upon shared humanity and generosity. Please consider donating to the Worcester County Humane Society!
